The University Learning Centre (ULC) is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

It provides library services for all students at Hartpury with a wide range of books, e-books and journals and DVDs as well as PCs, printers and photocopiers for use.

There’s also a designated study space for those wanting somewhere quiet to work and a dedicated postgraduate study area.

ULC services include large scale printing, dissertation binding and interlibrary loan requests and our friendly, knowledgeable staff are on hand to help with queries.

Hartpury students can search for and reserve books and e-books using the library catalogue online or on the library app, find academic journals online and access ‘brain-fit activities’ on the ULC section of the student moodle site.

It’s all about the extras!

The latest Microsoft Office package is also available to all Hartpury students at no cost, and can be downloaded to your own personal computer.

Your Hartpury account will also give you access to Box of Broadcasts (BoB) - a free service that is available to Hartpury students. It enables you to choose and record from any Freeview digital channel.  Archives include footage from all freeview channels, and includes coverage of sports tournaments, horse racing, films, etc.

You can search the archive, schedule something to record in the future, and even create clips to include in presentations or share with others.
