Hartpury University extends a warm welcome to students from across the EU. European students have been an important part of Hartpury for a number of years and we’re delighted to have seen so many of them go on to their dream careers in this country and around the world.
If you decide to study a course with you, you’ll be in good company, joining students from across the UK, the EU and around the world all studying courses in either animal, agriculture, equine or sport on our specialist campus.
European students and Brexit
We understand that you may have concerns about studying in the UK, as we leave the European Union. We’re committed to supporting all students through the process and our international team will provide as much information as they can to help you make a decision that’s right for you.
The UK Government announced in July 2018 that students from the EU starting a higher education course of study in England or Wales in 2019 will be eligible for Home (UK) fee status and subsequently student finance (including tuition fee loans) in the same way as they are now. This entitlement will remain in place for the duration of the course.
Your Hartpury University experience
All courses are taught by enthusiastic and experienced academics who are experts in their field. As an EU student you will receive help and guidance from our international office during your application process and then throughout your time with us. Additionally, you will be able to call on study support from our Achievement and Success Centre as well as our Innovations, Careers and Advice Centre, which together will help you to gain the Hartpury Advantage.
